Who do you like better?

I'm going to go with Batman.

-The villains are far more diverse and unique. Catwoman and the Joker being among my favorites.

-Gothman City provides a good environment to fight crime.

-The bat mobile is awesome.

-The storyline of Batman is more realistic and interesting. Batman's parents dying and as a result he dedicated his life to fighting crime.

-Batman has more weaknesses, which makes it more fun to see him get through different types of situations. You never know what gadget or means of cleverness he is going to use!

PS: Batman movies OWN Superman movies.

Batman. He is one of the most powerful superheroes despite having no other worldly powers, and he combats the most interesting villains. Batman also has interesting relationships with his accomplices whereas most superheroes are alone, and have an inflated sense of altruistic justice. Batman was out for vengeance; a sort of anti-hero.

While the show is hilarious (and was meant to be), the movies are awful, the cartoon adaptations and the more recent comics of the past 20 years have realized so much in the character and background story.

I liked Batman (1989) with Jack Nicholson, Batman Forever, Batman Begins and (my personal favorite) Batman Returns! Batman Returns is such a dark version of Batman, I can't help but love it!

And the Batman from 1966 was cheesy, but I enjoyed it. I'd watch it over and over as a little kid. The ones prior to 1966 I've never seen. And the one I didn't like was Batman and Robin.

Although none of them are "amazing" movies, I still liked them!

The new one made was actually good. Well, the first two by Tim Burton were tolerable, maybe even good. Those two with Joel Schumacher make me want to smash my TV.

Batman would be licking his ass, you mean? Bruce Wayne would be organizing a neighborhood watch if it weren't for his daddy's money.

I liked him. Finally, a superhero that actually killed people. That always pissed me off about other superheros. Wolverine....If I had 14 inch knives sticking out of my knuckles, I'd stab some people. Who wouldn't?

Chuck Norris would knock Superman silly with a spinning roundhouse kick to the head.

And don't tell Chuck he isn't a superhero -- not if you want to live!

Batman period. Wolverine and the rest of the hardcore guys wouldn't be around if not for the mold he set.

As for Wolverine, mind you it's been several years since I followed the comics reguraly. But when I did, I seem to recall a lot of times wolvie killed various people, and things. May not have been as graphic as the punisher, but trust me he was never that concerned with being a nice guy.

Actually a lot of comics would have stories where if you thought about it, the heroes were killing people. Think about it. If I remember, technically Spiderman can lift roughly around 10 tons. More than once I remember him going through some henchman (the non supered kind). Throwing them through walls and stuff. No indication of him holding back, so you do the math. Dead henchman, probably very messy dead henchmen.

Now that I think about it, Wolverine is pretty fucking badass.

I had a crush on cartoon Wolverine when I was a kid, and then Hugh Jackman played him and I almost swooned he was so hot. :)

Batman of course...

He's much much sexier - something about wanting to know what's behind that partial mask keeps him mysterious. Which is VERY sexy!

Best superhero...

I was always a punisher fan... a great storyline there, with Frank Castle and then Linus bringing in a new one. The punisher DID kill people, but he normally killed people who deserved it. The Punisher was bullet proof, but i have a comic where he fights venom and gets pwned. However, The Punisher uses his gadgets to melt Venom's suit off of Eddie Brock... a good read. I also have a Wolverine vs. Punisher 3 part series.. good stuff.

Woverine was cool in the comics, but i didn't like him in the movies. Hugh Jackman, playing... well... Hugh Jackman.... didn't do Wolvy justice. He wasn't short enough, he wasn't muscular enough, and he wasn't beastly enough.

As for Batman movies.. Batman returns WAS a "dark" rendition of batman, but I prefer Batman Forever as the best out of the series. The music was superb, the neon lighting gave it a cartoon feel, Val Kilmer played a 2X4 rather well(him, jackman, and paul walker should get in a room together and see who can not change faces the longest).... Chris O'Donnel was a nice touch, and the VILLAINS were alot better. Tommy Lee Jones as twoface was money, and Jim Carrey as the Riddler was even better. There WAS one hole in the plot on that movie though... if The Riddler and Two-Face had "the box" hooked up to everyone's brain to suck up their intelligence.. how come they didn't get any smarter?

Oh well.. Batman Forever pwns all other batmans.

People seem to excuse the two Burton films as actually being good. And I'd agree with the first because Jack was such a damn good Joker. But seriously I thought the Animated Series version of Penguin and Catwoman made the Batman Returns version look like complete shit. Catwoman was never done correctly... she never had any "powers" in the comics, just like Batman (9 lives? campy crap!). And those penguins carting off DeVito's fat ass with the tips of their flippers? Half of which weren't touching?? I dunno, Batman Returns was a joke is many areas. No where near the utter failure that was Batman Forever (though Jim Carrey was fun as always) and Batman and Robin (only worth seeing drunk or stoned... so bad its funny). Batman Begins was fantastic, though clearly Batman: Mask of the Phantasm is THE best Batman film of all time. Batman Begins a close second.

Oh, and yeah Batman is better than Superman. Although I love the concept of an alien living among mankind with his arch-enemy being a bald, mortal man. Mythology of Superman is superior, but yeah...

BATMAN.

LOL! How many crooks with guns has Batman taken down with nothing but a bat-a-rang? I like the Punisher too, but Batman would take him down no problem.

I like batman in everyway...even though he doesn't have the lazer eyes, and the most strongest body, batman has knowledge and wits, something that superman does not have.
