We saw this on pay per view the other day.
Expecting to see a true crime story of one of the saddest, most depraved cases in American history, we were instead treated to a convoluted mishmash of indecipherable crap. Very little attention was given to the Dahlia--instead it was the boring tale of two boxer cops who just happen upon the biggest case of their lives, but don't seem to much care. The "solution" to the real-life unsolved case was good for a laugh if nothing else.
Kind of sad because this could have been a good movie.
