The Germans have announced plans to go to the moon by 2013. The mission will cost about $400 - 500 million dollars, and will be unmanned. With them and the Chinese planning moon missions, could this be the start of a new space race?

Maybe between Germany and China.
We've already got them beat, so we can point fingers and laugh until they put a man on Mars.

Or until one of them establishes a habitable station on the moon.

I guess the German thirst for conquest isnt completly dead after all. What if they shot a Tiger Tank up there and drove it around the moon, that would be awsome.
