There are a number of channels that play them around the clock.

I don't watch them, as music videos often detract from the music.

Top Three:
1. Johnny Cash
2. Guns N Roses
3. Lynyrd Skynyrd

After that there's really no order but I'd include The Vandals, The Offspring, Black Sabbath, Joan Jett, and Sublime. Among others but I'm too lazy to think about it right now. :)

Music Videos, at least the way they are used today, DO detract from the music, and basically makes image bigger than the actual music. As long as the music sounds like everything else out there, its standard. The big thing is for bands to put hot girls in their video so they are associated with hot girls, thus girls will desire them. Plus, you have to add slow motion shots of girls, which the band hired, looking at band members seductively... LOL.. its all so fake.

Oh and Tupac is definitely NOT the best rapper of all time... i dont even like rap that much but that much is obvious

I actually saw a music video the other day that I didn't think sucked. "Tell Me Baby" by the Chili Peppers. Especially when Flea is tossing chairs around.

Weird Al makes some good music videos.

If you don't like rap, I'm going to assume you don't listen to it often and therefore your knowledge on the subject is probably going to be limited. Tupac is widely considered one of the best rappers of all time.

I used to listen to alot of rap in high school... and Tupac just never did it for me. He had a few good songs, but nowhere NEAR top of the pack. He had alot of "love songs" that were cheesy as hell.. people seem to forget about those.

As for rap i listened to back in the day:

Wu-Tang
Big Punisher
Method Man
ICP
Coolio
Busta Rhymes
Cypress Hill
Ice Cube
Snoop Dogg
Dr. Dre
Biggy
Bone
DMX

I'd say Wu-Tang/Method Man, Busta, Cypress Hill, Bone, Ice Cube, Snoop, Dre, and Biggy are all better than Tupac... but that's just my taste.

I know alot of people liked him, around where i live in the west cleveland suburbs... alot of people LOVED him in sheffield lake, which was known to be ratty, ghetto-wanna-be, and poor. They had the most potholes i've ever seen, and the school levy failed so much they went to fiscal emergency. All the kids over there jerked off tupac.. and i think its because they saw how Tupac tried so hard to be a hardass, and they wanted to be like him. And thats the thing... Tupac TRIED to be a hardass.. he'd go do stupid shit for no reason... the only wonder is how he stayed alive so long.

Well, there goes my "Decka is ignorant" on rap theory. :P

Yeah, my dad taught at Sheffield Middle School for a long time, and I can't remember their school levies passing. Not even once. Although, I went to his school last year before he retired (Forestlawn Elementary) and they had some hi-tech gizmos I've never seen before.

And yeah, the roads out here still fuckin' suck. Funny that you mentioned it, my dad told me today that you can e-mail Lorain with pothole locations and they'll come fix it. Judging by the roads, doesn't seem like they are backing their claims, unfortunately.

Back when i was in high school.. i had 17 inch performance racing rims on my Chevy Cavalier, which of course had the thin tires. Well i went down this side road that was pretty much a bunch of pot holes with wavering lines of street lining the road. I went really slow(10mph in a 25)but of course one of my Toyo Proxies blew out, and those babies aren't cheap. So i go to the city council and police station to complain.. and they say there isn't a DAMN thing they will do... even though i was going 10 in a 25 and my tire STILL blew out. They wouldn't foot the bill. I thought about filing a lawsuit just for the amount of the tire, but a friend of mine had the same thing happen awhile back, and he said the process never goes in your favor. I just admitted the loss and went about my business...

The problem with sheffield is that it is full of construction-working "fathers" who knock up there baby-mama high school sweet heart... so of course they will vote NO on the school levy, the road levy... everything. They just want cheap housing. And boy do they get it because the property value in sheffield is probably the lowest in the state.
