You know, there's one big problem I'd have with becoming a Christian... It would be admitting that all humans are products of incest on a huge scale. Adam and Eve's children married whom? Their brothers and sisters. And then if the whole Noah's ark thing were true, we'd all be descended from 8 people who were already extremely inbred.

A worse problem I would have becoming a Christian would be the teaching Christianity has that we are all by nature sinful, under a "curse" (that's right--a "curse," such as something some wizard might conjure), and deserving of being tortured forever.

What an incredbible absurdity. Now all humans have absurdities in their belief systems, but this does seem to take the case.

Even more, it works positive harm in human lives, building unnecessary feelings of insufficiency and guilt and fear. It is not just an absurdity, the teaching is positively evil.

Oh, really, sigh--I suppose you think the churches should be opened to all that vandalism and public defecation. They can't afford it and it is unreasonable to expect.
