Right now, I am listening to Enter The Sandman by Metallica.

That band is totally cool! As a true music lover, listening to the change in bars, it's like... they go from 4/4 to an off beat. That drummer truly rocks too.

I never thought I would listen to Metal but Metallica is awesome and its what I'm listening to at this very moment. :)

aahh...it's nice to see the young ones picking up the oldies:) That album is the last true good album Metallica made. Work your way backwards from that album, they get better:thumbs:

I seen them back in 2003 and it was awesome. I loved how the different sections of the stage moved around. And the pyro's......holy crap.....I was up in the 2nd floor balcony and I still felt the heat from those things:@@:

Soul Crusher-White Zombie Well I don't remember the exact year off hand but it was early 1990s in Albuuerque,New Mexico. This girl I knew in Santa Fe invited me to go. I was mad because Alice in Chains was suppose to play before Metallica but they cancelled and the replacement was Candlebox who I don't care for and a really sad replacement. The other bands were Suicidal Tendicies(not that great) and Rob Halford(lead singer of Judas Priest) who was ok but much better when he is with Judas Priest. It was not raining but there was awesome lighting in the distance which went perfect with Metallica playing for some reason. The concert was in a football stadium and we set in the stands. When Metallica came on hundreds of people crashed through and went on the field. There was nothing the security could do. It was awesome. Especially since I was not in it but could view it safely from where I was!

well damn...you seen them when they were good and had Jason Newsted on bass. The new guy they have playing bass is good, but he's no Jason Newsted and he was no Cliff Burton.
When I seen them, they only played a handful of their older stuff, and I call their older stuff pre-Load days. I have to say St.Anger was a major dissappointment to me,probably the only Metallica album I will never own

I saw Metallica a second time a couple of years ago in San Francisco. They played with the Rolling Stones and Everclear. Metallica was ok but not near as good as the first time I saw them. The Stones on the other hand have kicked ass all three times I've seen them. Metallica acually played there first gig with the new bass player at San Quentin prison which is very near me. I did get to see a little bit of the concert that they showed on tv. The lead singer lives in the same county as me! Not sure where the other members live.

oh yeah, that guy is a good bass player,I'd put him up there with some other good ones,I just am not fond of the album he is on with the band. And I believe the whole band is from the Bay area out there.

Now I have never seen the Rolling Stones live, but that is one concert I would like to see.

Now I have never seen the Rolling Stones live, but that is one concert I would like to see. Well the way they keep touring chances are you might get to. I saw them twice on this past tour. It came through the bay area twice. San Francisco a couple of years ago and Oakland last year. Same world tour. They are amazing. And part of the stage went out on a track to the other side of the stadium and they played a few songs on the other side and while going and coming back to the main stage. It was incredible! I have been to many many concerts and the Stones are certainly one of the best live bands.

Metallica black was the last real metallica album. load/reload was so toned down so it would get played on the radio.Garage inc was mainly just a bunch of stuff they had in the studio that was never released. It was simular to GnRs spagetti incident. St. Anger just plain blowed. Hell they even cut their hair so they could stay on MTV. That was a long time ago. When MTV played music videos. Before Rap took over.

The roughest concert I ever went to was when I was 17... Metallica,Danzig, and suicidal tenancies. They crowd called metallica out for an encore for the second time. They didnt come out. Things got rough. I got 12 stitches above my left eyebrow, and seven staples on my elbow,,,,(blocking a bottle from hitting my head)

I agree that was last decent album they made. There is only 1 song off the Load album I like and that's "Bleeding Me". I couldn't find it in a single at the time so I had to buy the whole album.
Garage Inc was alright,I like their covers of "Whiskey in the Jar" and "Turn the Page". That's what the majority of that album is,covers they play at concerts and just recorded.

Now give me the "Ride the Lightning" or "Master of Puppets" album and I'm good to go.
