I’m shocked. My friend had decided to adopt Islam. Not long ago he was good Catholic and now he’s almost Islam zealot! At the same time they’re building one more mosque and right near my house. My daughter will go to school just past that mosque. I’ve already been forced to translate her into new school. For there were too many Turkish children that couldn’t speak German well in an old one and my daughter’s class fell behind in their curriculum. Sometimes it seems to me that country I live in isn’t Germany. And I’m scared to imagine what Europe would look like when Turkey would join EU.
Even if we’ll give Turkey the gate Ukraine will join EU quite soon. Ukrainian Crimean peninsula is occupied by Muslim Tatars that enjoy support of Ankara. Moreover Ukrainian President Yushchenko promised Turks special privileged regime in Ukraine. So allowing Ukraine to join EU we’ll get also mini-Turkey but much more aggressive and economically backward.
Do we need that?
