I finally saw this last night. I thought it was good, but not as good as it's been hyped to be. The cinematography and especially the sound were amazing. I didn't like that it was sort of a one note movie, my emotions remained in the same state through the whole film. Dark. But worth seeing on the big screen.

Actually, I was not able to watched the Pan's Labyrinth seems the film is definitely not for young children. Although the fantasy sequences are gorgeously realised, and are fairy tales in the truest sense , most of the story exists outside of the dreamland, in the even more frightening world of a real life struggle of ideas and ideology.
I'm looking forward to this Tom Shankland film...anyone heard about this Waz film of him..?:woohoo:
