Right now it's either Steve Nash or Dirk Nowitski.. of course, they have the luxury, and they have earned, to be on the two best teams in the NBA, no question.

Nash is playing AMAZING... EVERY night its 20+ points.. 12+ assists.. along with steals and rebound help. He is constant as the the northern star.

I wouldn't mind him getting the MVP for the 3rd straight time. Dirk is really hitting his jumpers this year. Everyone goes in, and since he is 7 feet tall, noone can block him. His mere build makes him unguardable.

I really think Nash is overrated. How hard is it for him? You got Amare under the hoop, Marion who can be anywhere on the floor and knock it down, Raja Bell who drops the 3s...I'm pretty sure even I could run the offense in Phoenix. He wasn't anything special in Dallas...

Dirk makes much more sense or hell, even Gilbert Arenas (who I don't even like.)

Hell, if the Cavs stop being terrible and actually do something on offense, theres always the outside chance LBJ could get it. I think he should have gotten it last year...look at the Cavs roster. Without LBJ, we're the 76ers.

Right now I think it's either Nash or Nowitski. Kobe, Duncan, Arenas, LBJ, and Boozer are in the running, but as long as Suns and Mavs continue to play at about the same level during the second half of the season, you have to put Nash and Nowitski above the rest. It's kind of scary that they used to be teammates. Nash and Jason Kidd also used to be teammates.
