My latest gadget buy (PS3 or this) was a high power laser pointer from www.dragonlasers.com that can do all kinds of cool things.

Sitting in McDonalds the other day when my friend wanted a demo. Put holes in his large coke cup. Hahaha the look on the faces of the kids on the table next to us was so comical. Like they were doing a fish impersonation.:banana:

Friend of mine here has one of those high powered lasers. We could hit the water tower thats over a mile away and see the beam the whole way. And, you can light a cig with it, not that I smoke.

No joke.

Several years ago I purchased one of the first laser pointers & had an absolute riot with it. Back then it was only a harmless red dot that infuriated some & cracked up others. I'm saving my change for one of these high powered toys that makes a real impact. Having the ability to sizzle through a paper cup or light a cig from a distance is just to much fun to pass up!

Had a neighbor kid playing with a pointer one evening. He thought it was funny until the ones pointed back at him werent pointers.....

There was a rash of people pointing lasers, red, but primarily green into the cockpits of planes approaching the two major NYC airports. Pilots were temporarily blinded endangering the lives of their passengers and themselves. It stopped after a few people were caught and prosecuted. Their excuse that they were only fooling around carried no weight with the judge. A laser capable of putting a hole in a paper cup should be classified as a weapon not a toy.

I saw a video on how to tamper with them to create heat (light a match) with it......scary.
