Can't believe there's no thread to discuss the new season!
Now I personally don't get into the show much once the finalists are narrowed down, but I do looooove to watch the really bad singers make fools outta themselves!
Lots of talk this year surrounding the judges' alleged 'cruelty' toward some contestants. In my opinion, if you're brave enough to stand up there and sing, you oughta be tough enough to stand the heat!
Last night's show uncovered both the best and worst of NYC... the BEST and WORST city in America!

I love that show. I think that the people who got treated mean deserved it. They come on wanting their 15 minutes of fame they want to be on TV. Like that gal from last night who said she can't sing!

I was surprised at how many freaks there were in NYC. Oh wait, no I wasn't.

Surprisingly, Seattle seemed to have more freaks than NYC! Must be the constant rain, eh?

It was odd because I was watching MSNBC's Countdown w/ Keith Olberman and they were discussing how last week the judges were being too harsh and this week, they were being nice.
However, that girl that said she couldn't sing was retarded.

Thinking I heard they're auditioning in Montgomery, AL this week. Now that oughta be a good group.

Well, I was wrong (1st time EVER)... last night was in LA. And they did have some doozies!
Love the 64 yr old guy who sang to his deceased 'lady'. But the daughter of the woman who used to be one of Dean Martin's Golddiggers shoulda just stayed home. She couldn't carry a tune in a bucket.
I wasn't too impressed with the 'talent' they discovered there. Guess everybody who REALLY CAN SING is already a star.
San Antonio, TX next stop. Oughta be interesting.
