The Estonian line in EU is of provocative nature imo. We should face this unpleasant revelation with our eyes widely open and nip it in the bud until it’s too late.
That latest Estonian feud with Russia over The Bronze Soldier in Tallinn and that immoral Estonian parliament’s law on demolition of WW II monuments are surely not only Russia’s or Estonia’s domain. Actually the aim is to weaken whole EU and mainly Germany. Needless to say, Estonians have dared to act so with the nod from Washington scary of maturing EU. Russian oil and gas make the energy base of this maturing, you know. In case her relationship with the West goes down, she may make her energy flow eastwards to China Japan and elsewhere.
Really it’s smart going of Americans…. and it’s as simple as pie. Small but proud Estonia is excellent tool to hit huge Russia below belt and provoke her into economic reprisals. It makes easy to then make her energy policy subject of severe criticism. And mind that 70% of Estonia’s primary energy is of domestic origin. So she can brave it. It’s time to show a little doggie where she actually belongs to in EU …at the doorstep.
