I try not to watch much Preseason football. It's not that I don't want to, it just distorts my view of what the makeup of the teams are like. Sometimes I will watch the first quarter since that usually involves the starters. But it's way too early to try to gauge teams. I AM READY FOR SOME FOOTBALL!!!!

Well I didnt enjoy seeing Carolina dominate my beloved Skins. But at least Spurrier didnt keep the starters in for most of the game to try to win it. It is pre-season and should only be used as such. To get players into game shape one step at a time. Fearless prediction for the Skins: 8-8 and once again out of the playoffs. Oh woe is me.

I saw a couple of Stephen Davis clips in that game. He looked pretty good...

Watching pre-season NFL is ok if you're only looking for that football fix. Gives everyone a chance to get ready for the real season ... the announcers, the advertisers, your local grocery store, getting the recliner in the exact position, all that stuff.
