I'd make some sort of witty response about your intelligence (or lack thereof), but I am taking to heart es347's sig:

"Never argue with an idiot. They drag you down to their level then beat you with experience."

Peace. Love.

Sometimes they're forgotten concepts. Folks forget about nuturing one another when they are all caught up in themselves.

I have to agree what has happened to the "love"?

I remember going to bed at night and not having to close and lock your windows or doors.

When children could walk to school and not have to worry about being abducted.

When neighbors could stand outside in the evenings talking about their yards and families.

I remember growing up having neighborhood BBQ's.
The older kids playing "catch" in the street, the younger kids playing hide-n-seek.

I remember when work, school and home were safe places to be.

Now-a-days the kids have to worry about "drive-by shootings" when playing outside, they have to walk through metal detectors at school and have armed guards there too.

I know I am kinda "dating" myself here, just feeling nostalgic tonight.

thanks for letting me get my feelings out...

I remember my mother talk about cutting through yards to get to school. I would love to cut through a person's yard to get to my bus stop easier without having to worry about getting sued. If I was in the country, I'd worry about that redneck with his shotgun yelling "Y'all git off mah propty!!". That was a fun joke...

hey...not all rednecks are like that...LOL

When I see the kids cutting through my yard I just wave at them and say "hey" (redneck for hello)
