An American reporter publicly doubted Condy Rice’s ability to make relevant decisions relating Iraq due to her marital status. He meant Condy can’t sympathize with the victims of Iraqi war because she hasn’t got a family.
Well, well, well….There’s hidden agenda here. Condy has neither husband nor kids. Formally she has none, but some time ago she was involved in most amusing tiff between Laura Bush and her husband, president George Bush. Laura suspected extramarital relationship then. Perhaps she had some ground to. Previously (when a National Security Advisor) Condy made a big gaffe at a dinner calling Bush “my husband” instead of “the president”.
So we can’t know for sure who’s really staying The First Lady. At least far as political decision making is concerned it’s definitely Condy Rice. They say she has subdued Bush absolutely. That’s true I think judging by American misfortunes in Iraq. Rice’s line in foreign policy is excessively aggressive. Isn’t that some form of sublimation? That reporter hit the mark. Poor Americans then…. And they seem to be awakening to that discouraging revelation.
Thanks Lord! In France our female polls are staying in loving marriages.

Well, you know what they say, behind every powerful man there's a woman who controls him. And I never thought Laura was that type.

That premise is ridiculous. There are plenty of single women who are empathetic and loving, and plenty of married men who are unable to sympathize with the Iraqi war victims because they are egotistic, power-loving assholes. As a matter of fact the administration is chockful of them.
I do agree that Condi is most likely unable to sympathize with any victims. And I would posit the her obvious aggressiveness is a cause of her not forming a marital relationship. And that it is also a factor in making her so attractive and valuable to the current aggressive administration.
As far as her possible intimate relationships with George Bush go, who cares what these cold-blooded automatons do for sex? What possible impact can it have on you?

It was reported (http://tammybruce.com/2007/01/the_obscenity_of.php) the other day that Senator Barbara Boxer made those comments to Secretary Rice.

Condi Rice was a mistake. She may be good at dealing with European nations, but when dealing with middle eastern and african countries we should have a man as secratary of state. Preferably a middle eastern man. I see nothing wrong with appointing people to secratary of state based on the world situation at the time. We all know muslim countries dont care for women, so why send a woman to do our negotiating? May as well send a flaming homo in drag

So where exactly did you major in Islamic or Middle Eastern Studies? Seriously Trav, in all your 10,000 plus posts, this just maybe dumbest. Your ignorance, at first, used to surprise me. But now, it's just irritating.

correct me if I am wrong, but muslim countries are not well known for their treatment of women, or for having women in positions of power or prominence. Sure, there are exceptions to every rule, but generally speaking, women in muslim countries are second class citizens in the eyes of the islamic law these countries follow. If you are going to negotiate with a country that has no respect for women, why send a woman? Its really noy not that hard to understand. I guess what is hard is cracking the shell of political correctness we have been surrounded by in order to point out the obvious.

It does make one wonder.
She is rich, powerful and successful.
So what is wrong with Condi that she is still single at her age?
Is she a lesbian? Nothing wrong with it if she is, but why keep it quiet?
Could it be because her party would abandon her faster then Newt Gingrich with a sick wife?

Just out of curiosity dharma, why does there have to be something "wrong" with Ms. Rice in order to explain her marital status?

I sure would be. She seems like the dominatrix type. Then again so does Laura Bush. Maybe GW likes that?
