Hah... Well I guess it's a good thing that the airlines no longer offer free food, so I no longer eat it... Unless they found a way to spit in the peanuts or the cans of soda!

Who gets food on a plane? First class?
DarkFantasy96

I don't know if first class still get food, but I know on any airlines that offer it (and some don't), people in coach have to pay for it.

I fly strictly Southwest unless I have a very good reason not to, and Southwest doesn't offer food.

Well, they do give you a bag of discustingly salted snacks and a drink if your plane-ride is a few hours long.

Who do you think doesn't fly? I've flown about 20 times in the past 2 and a half years, on 4 different airlines, and for the last year and a half none of those airlines have offered free food to coach. They do offer food you can pay for, but I never see anyone buy it.

I haven't flown regularly since leaving the military. Maybe once a year, and of late, not even that.

I have flown quite a lot in the past few years, since I lived in Costa Rica. And now I'll be flying more often to go visit Borg.

Abstracter (assuming for the sake of argument that he's the actual person in question here) reminds me of someone that worked for me once. He was so focused on one issue he was completely useless in all other regards. He seemed to think that he was being persecuted for bringing up the one issue he really cared about when in fact he was getting in trouble for being generally useless, not to mention a pain in the ass.
