(January 8, 2007) — IRONDEQUOIT — Lydia Turiano didn't want a Barbie doll, board games or Easy-Bake Oven for her 10th birthday. She wanted money.
However, it wasn't for selfish reasons.
Instead of her family and friends buying her toys, she wanted them to bring cash donations to her party for fellow fourth-grader Brian Santos, 9, who has bone cancer. [more]PRAISE GOD FOR THIS KIND GIRLS HEART!!!
