1. Pray

2. Go to bed on time.

3. Get up on time so you can start the day unrushed.

4. Say "No" to projects that won't fit into your time schedule, or that will compromise your mental health

5. Delegate tasks to capable others.

6. Simplify and unclutter your life.

7. Less is more. (Although one is often not enough, two are often too many.)

8. Allow extra time to do things and to get to places.

9. Pace yourself. Spread out big changes and difficult projects over time; don't lump the hard things all together.

10. Take one day at a time.

11. Separate worries from concerns. If a situation is a concern find out what God would have you to do and let go of the anxiety. If you can't do anything about a situation .. forget it.

12. Live within your budget; don't use credit cards for ordinary purchases.

13. Have backups; an extra car key in your wallet, an extra house key buried in the garden, extra stamps, etc.,

14. K.M.S. (Keep Mouth Shut). This single piece of advice can prevent an enormous amount of trouble.

15. Do something for the Kid in You everyday.

16. Carry a Bible with you to read while waiting in line.

17. Get enough exercise.

18. Eat right.

19. Get organized so everything has its place.

20. Listen to a tape while driving that can help improve your quality of life.

21. Write thoughts and inspirations down.

22. Every day, find time to be alone.

23. Having problems? Talk to God on the spot. Try to nip small problems in the bud. Don't wait until it's time to go to bed to try and pray.

24. Make friends with Godly people.

25. Keep a folder of favorite scriptures on hand.

26. Remember that the shortest bridge between despair and hope is often a good "Thank you, Jesus!"

27. Laugh.

28. Laugh some more!

29. Take your work seriously, but yourself not at all.

30. Develop a forgiving attitude (most people are doing the best they can).

31. Be kind to unkind people (they probably need it the most).

32. Sit on your ego.

33. Talk less; listen more.

34. Slow down.

35. Remind yourself that you are not the general manager of the universe.

36. Every night before bed, think of one thing you're grateful for that you've never been grateful for before. GOD HAS A WAY OF TURNING THINGS AROUND FOR YOU.

"If God is for us, who can be against us?" (Romans 8:31)

Even if you don't believe in God, you can still take alot from this list... i mean, most people i argue with daily on this board should follow #32...

Bah, ego is fucking great. I feel like a king whenever I whip your ass. Those who are slaves to their ego just don't understand it. Those who would deny other's their ego, are slaves to it themselves. Not a day goes by without me telling myself how amazing I am and how much better I am than everyone else. There really is nothing else like it.

I would tell myself that I was better than everyone else if it was true. But it's not, so telling myself that doesn't make me feel any better.

Haha. There's nothing that can be proven or disproven about the statement, "I'm better than everyone else." So you could say it, and nobody could prove it wrong. Not even yourself. In fact, if everyone in the world said it, and there's good reason to believe that at least most of them do, then everyone in the world would be right, and better than everyone else, even as the person sitting right next to them would be better than he is.

Of course, I don't need to fool myself this way, I really am better than everyone else! :D

Normally when people say that... i consider them a fool.

can't say its that way for everyone.. but I just thought i'd give you perspective.

But by all means... go on with your bad self.. and be good at... umm.. whatever it is that you do.

And speaking of the list, they left off the #1 stress reducer:

SEX!!!!!!!!!!!

WOOHOOOO

That's the very first thing I thought of when I saw this post, and wondered why it wasn't there. Then I saw all the Christian crap.

I might not be better than everyone else but I'm better than Napsterbater.:lolhit:

The list seems pretty good but since it is already after two in the morning I guess suggestion number two will have to wait until another day.

Great apracticle advice and if I can add to a perfect study,I would say
1.Don't let running for more money your main aim, your good health is not reversable most of the time.
2.Do things that you really like to do providing it doesn't harm others.
3.Keep in mind that good health and peace of mind is a gift from god.
4.Be thankful to God for giving you good health and good and honest family and friends to share this short life with.
