So my friend comes up to me the other day and says that his ex-fiance lost her fertility. She was damaged from taking the "morning after pill" when she experienced complications! Both their actions caused this event to happen, but he's in a relationship with another girl already and it's pretty serious! Like talking about marriage serious. I guess his ex is mad/sad because she has to deal with the aftermath of THEIR decision together, and my friend can just move on and get married and have his own kids! He feels terribly guiltly about this and is torn between the love of his life, and his ex who he feels he needs to take responibility for and marry her! See she's afraid that no one will want her if she can't have babies! She so afraid that she's almost suicidal. He came to me with this two days ago and it floored me! I feel bad and have no idea what to tell him. So I'm bringing this to you guys for insight! What do you think? I need something to tell this guy or his ex for comfort!

He doesn't have to marry her because she can't get pregnant. :rolleyes: I'm pretty sure everyone agrees on this. This chick needs to get a fucking grip. For one thing, there are many men who don't want to have children. I'm sure they wouldn't be unhappy about her infertility when thinking of marrying her.

And another thing: if someone doesn't want to marry her just because she can't have kids, then they are NOT in love with her and wouldn't be a good person to marry anyways.

Your friend should stick with the girl that he really loves, and advise the ex to go get herself a dachshund puppy.

Dachshund puppies are affectionate, fun to hold, and they've got just the cutest little paws!!
(And they'll never turn into hulking, sullen teenagers, steal all your liquor, and then run off with some guy named Axel someday.)

Tell him if he marries the ex he is ruining FOUR lives. His own, the love of his life (current girlfriend) his ex's AND the man that will truly love her for who she is.

Plus it sounds like a bullshit manipulation job to me. She is enraged that he has moved on and she is testing her power over him. She's a player, not a perspective partner, ... players never are. Who knows if she's even telling the truth.
