It seems people will do anything to get a PlayStation 3 this holiday season. A Minnesota radio host announced over the radio that if parents were willing to turn their children over to the station for 24 hours, they would give them a new PS3. [more]Linky (http://www.psu.com/node/5761)

Dave Ryan went onto say in an article,"But I didn't want them to feel too badly. I said, 'Listen you're not the only one who fell for this'. But at the same time, think about it, these are your kids, these are the most precious responsibility you'll ever have in your entire life. Be careful with your babies.' "

And we think everyone has the right to reproduce.

I think just to screw these dumbass parents over, they should be given the gag prize of a Sega Dreamcast.

it's perfectly reasonable for a parent to let their kid go to a radio station for a day in exchange for a PS3

It's not like the radio station planned to use them as sex slaves.

A day hanging out in a radio station + a PS3 sounds like a good deal to me.

But they werent planning on doing it (The station) -- They just wanted to see if anyone would go for it......

I dunno....I would MUCH RATHER have an atari or something from the 80s myself :)

People are getting stupidier everyday. I'm sure our grandparents think or thought it about us at one time or another.

Honestly (and I'm as guilty as anyone else.) We live in a world wher stores sell water,WATER! and charge anywhere from .70 to sometimes over $2 for freaking WATER!

Where some guy in a labcoat claims to be a dr. sells diet pills. Even though everyday you hear how these things are a rip off. People still go into debt for them.

Where people think nothing of doping their kids so they won't act so much like kids.

I swear I sometimes wonder if bringing Evan into this world, was a good thing. I feel sorry for how screwed up things are going to get.

Ouch! Those kids probably feel pretty damn inferior right about now.

"Now honey stop that crying. Of course we love you. ... Just not as much as a playstation 3, but hey we still love you. Look at it this way, the Dj's will feed you, at night you can play games on their computers and watch TV. Hey in time you can learn a fun job. Trust me they can take care of you much better than we can. Now dry those tears up and finish packing. Theres an online tournament starting tomorrow and mommy and daddy don't want to be late."
