Orson Scott Card's new book "Empire" is a very good story about a near-future American civil war between the far-right and far-left. He follows it up with a great warning about the growing incivility of debate.

I ususally like Card's books. Ender's Game is one of my favorite sci-fi books.
This is very good, but isn't up there in my favorites.

Great book! They are making a movie out of it so I highly reccomend everyone read the book first.
