View Full Version : Attention Webmasters!
I'm currently going to start a webring of a few forums/message boards. If you have a site that gets a reasonable amount of traffic and are interesting in joining the ring you may email webmaster@allforums.net or reply here.
Members must place a few links at the bottom of their main page which may be seen at the bottom of our main page. No advertisments or graphics will be used, this is purely a mutual beneficial agreement between sites.
Heres the code to put...

Well you know I'm interested. :)
When you put mine in the ring, put it in as http://phoenixlair.cyberwings.com/main.php. That will be a little faster then going straight to phoenixlair.cyberwings.com as the user won't have to be redriected. :)
Because of the dynamic url there Im having some difficulties; I should beable to fix the problem by later tonigh

Alrighty Ive gotten around the "dynamic page" problemo.. But the new code is slightly more complicated.. Here's the code for phoenix lair forums (whenever someone signs up ill post their code):
<center><Font size="1">Message Board Webring</font><br><A HREF="http://allforums.net/webring/link.php?id=1&type=prev"><</A> | <A HREF="http://allforums.net/webring/link.php?type=random&id=0">Random</A> | <A HREF="http://allforums.net/">></A> <A HREF="http://allforums.net/webring">?</a></center>

Scott has tons of people come to his site, I mean with a name like z00om.com come on!!
Well the site mite be doing great, but this is a message board ring, so the links will go at the bottom of the message board; and it only has 1 member if Im reading it right!!

That reminds me... I'd like to join your ring but so far have not managed to accumulate any users for my board due to the fact that pretty much every ring'll require some number of users. Any tips on how to remedy this?

Sounds like a good idea, but I just may have to pass right now.

You should know itleast 10 people you can get to sign up.. Then put your link in your sig at a few other message boards, once you get a grip on a userbase they will attract you more users.
25 members shouldnt be very hard to achieve! If you try hard enough..
Sounds cool, Jimbo.
I've spent the past 5 weeks or so developing a "unique" site related to message boards and related resources. It will eventually feature a vB of its own where Admins, Mods, and visitors can hang out and discuss the ins and outs of the BB biz.
I'm hoping to debut this new site this Sunday. I'll be providing a link to it over at my place (bsbrigade.com/forums) so that my members can provide feedback, etc. before the "official" launch.
Should be a great site.

I'm definatly interested in getting back into the ring. Had I not had the problems I had with the sub domain originally, I would have stayed on your ring anyway. Oh well, I recall you said you were switching rings anyway. Have you done that yet? As for my website address I know you know what that is, but I'll post it anyway. www.phoenixfury.com
