I had posted a message and once I posted it I realized it was posted in the wrong forum. I couldn't figure out how to simply delete the whole thing and had to change it to this.

Just go into "edit" and there is a link there to delete posts...

It's possible that that function has been altered. Borg changed the ability of posters to delete the first post in a thread and thus deleting the entire thread. If you'd like I can delete it for you.

I want Borg to change it back, or I will lobby for his expulsion from the position of moderator.

I don't think a thread should be able to be deleted by its creator solely because it deletes the posts of others as well. Other than that, I would not care.

I understand the reasoning, but I believe that the right of the thread creator to destroy his thread trumps that of the others to have their posts read. Besides, I don't like the fact that you acted unilaterally without consulting Vile or ES.

The feature was disabled before Allforums was upgraded to the latest vBulletin version, and I was surprised to see it enabled. I reverted it to where it happened to be prior to the vBulletin upgrade, assuming it to be a long-overlooked glitch in the update process.
