I want to learn this language till I can speak, read and write it flawlessly.

Right now I am debating which one of these two language courses should I use

* Rosetta Stone

or

* Rocket German

For those that know, which one would be better for rapid learning :@@:

If you have the money take a Berlitz course.

I used a series of 15 and books CDs to brush up on my German a few years back. The CDs contained conversational simple German, German for the traveler, German for the business person, etc.. The books reinforced the lessons and gave practice in reading and writing.

I used to listen to the CDs as I was driving too and from work.

The name of the program is, Mastering German, Hear It, Speak It, Write It, Read It. It is put out by Barrons.

I highly recommend it.

I learn German from a class in school. But, I've heard of the Rosetta Stone course. It seems to be all over the place. I'd go with that. You can always return it if you're unhappy.

I wanted to get the Rosetta Stone course in Mandarin.

My niece has taken German courses...that's because she and her husband travel all over the world. One of the many pirques of marrying a wealthy Australian...lol;)

So far, I seem to be leaning toward the Rosetta Stone. This is the one that almost everyone that I've personally asked have recommended

Dunkirk,

Marry a young German girl who speaks no English.
You'll have it all figured out in three months flat.

Rosetta Stone is your best bet for sure.
