I have come accross your name on a few other forums... I need help with obtaining practice questions for 70-291 exam, I already have questions from MSPress, MeasureUp and transcenders but none have helped me pass.


Here is what I posted regarding this exam on a couple of other sites:

I won't go into too much details of all my certifications but will say I have done my fair share from various Novell CNE's, MCNE, CCNA, CCNP, CCDA, CCDP and MCSE+I on NT4

I have written XP as well as Exam 70-290 which I will admit I had to write twice for 70-290 only because it has been about 4 years since I wrote my last exam and was totally blown away that simulations were now part of the exams but will admit at the same time "about time" nice to see these a part of MS certification process.

However I don't seem to have any luck with this 70-291 exam, I have written twice already and only because the person I worked with gave all that he studied from and passed (so he says) which were a bunch of practice questions with explanations from various vendors only to fail with a 679 even though I nailed the sims.

When I researched the exam objectives for 70-291 after seeing what I did poorly on I noticed that I didn't have any practice questions for two of the sections which were "Implemement, Manage and Maintain Routing and Remote Access" and "Implemement, Manage and Maintain Name Resolution" (hence so he says).

So I ended up going out and buying MS Trainig Kit and studied like crazy especially on the two sections I did really poorly on while still going over what I did well on only to fail again with the same two sections being my weak point. Again I have no problems with the simulations. Second score was even worse than the first one with a 636.

So what I am asking for is what other practice questions are out there other than Transcenders and MeasureUp that I can use to help me pass this? UCertify, Pass4Sure, Actual Tests, TestOut, Certkiller? I hope none of these are braindums and if they are am sorry to mention them on this board.

Note: I was again surprised to see that now WSUS was on the exam which I totally didn't know was going to be the case but even checking on MS Exam objective, it isn't listed there which I also didn't see before writting the second time. I ended up printing out a few sections from microsoft.com but not sure if this is good or enough.

I realize now that I need to prepare myself a lot more i.e. search google to see what is new on the exam,etc... before writting but right now I don't feel like I can make it...it is a big blow to my morale...

An even bigger blow is that my local big box retail chain book store doesn't even have any books on this exam.

Any help from this forum would be greatly appreciated as I can't seem to find the right answer's with other hits I have found via google.

Exam 70-291 was much tougher than 290, I had been using MS press books as well as Sybase books. But still I was much puzzled on some of the topics of DHCP. I had been using Microsoft training kit. It proved helpful. But the need of the hour was practice questions.I had ucertify practice stuff. Well You can follow them.
