Usually it's been horror movies. Recently I saw Rest Stop. I thought it was awful.

I would like to nominate the remake of The Poseidon Adventure as one of the worst movies ever.
It's so bad, I can't even remember the title.

You know there's a problem when you nod off during the ship sinking scene, and the characters were such blatant caricatures, such cardboard cutouts of real people, that you didn't give a hoot if they lived or died. As a matter of fact, you were hoping they WOULD die, and quickly, just to put an end to some of the worst acting and poorest dialogue in film making history.

I guess you could say that I didn't care much for the movie. No stars.

Mosquito:

A bunch of mosquitos suck the blood of a dead alien, then they mutate into big mosquitos that attack people. When they fly, they sound like B-17's. Although, I saw one jab it's nose into the tire of a moving car, in which it's foam body was ripped to shreds. I thought that was funny.

Monty Python movies are fantastic. Lionel is right.

Now, most horror films are god awful, as are teen comedies, sex romps, and films geared to pre-teens.

Gee, Shortstuff... we could be related! I HATE Monty Python too. Just never got it. Like some of the British TV comedies like Are You Being Served and Keeping Up Appearances. But MP makes me yawn.

I do admit to being warped though. Like I really liked the Mosquito movie someone mentioned. And I'll still watch Attack of the Killer Tomatoes when it's on. Oh yeah, and George Romero. Love those zombies!

I'm partial to a good horror movie or original grade "b" or even "C" movie myself--as long as they're fun and original or suspensful.
George Romero can tell a dang good and original story.

Thanks for saving me from being burned at the stake, hehe.

Evakian and Lionelhutz sorry guys I just don't get the humor it is really wasted on me. My brother even did on of the Monty python plays and I sat through it because he was in it but I almost die of boredom...the only good part was my brother had to wear a dress he-he that was a sight. LMAOROTFL
OK another sucky one for me was princess bride, dumb dumb dumb.

Hey the Princess Bride was a great movie. I mean come n it had Andre the Giant in it! Like rendova, I am also partial to B and C movies. I often find them funny even when it's a horror movie. One of the worst movies I've seen recently was the Fantastic 4. Maybe I was expecting more from it, but the took way to long about how they got their powers.

Well, speaking of bad movies... I know it's old news, but I just recently saw Brokeback Mountain and HATED it! Left me depressed for days. First movie I've ever watched that made both genders look disgusting at the same time. Wish I'd have skipped that one.

I actually thought Brokeback Mountain was a pretty good movie. If it was about a woman and man I don't think people would be talking shit about it.

Brokeback Mountain and not liking it for me is not about it being about two men and their wanting to have a life together as it was. The movie was poorly done and long and drawn out. It had nothing to do with the sex scenes or kissing. What two mature adults gay, bi or strait do in their bedroom is there business and as long as they are happy who give a shit.
It takes all kinds to make the world work and I like it this way.

I didn't think it was drawn out. If one likes dramatic films, then length is not a big issue. The film wasn't fantastic, but it certainly wasn't poorly done. I could have formulated a more emotional movie with the resources they had to make it, and I'm sad it wasn't a powerhouse like it was said to be.

Horror movies in general though. Haven't seen one I've liked. Uninteresting and most certainly not scary, just annoying.

Talladega Nights, The Grudge and White Noise....the last three movies I saw, and I left all of them not ever wanting to see a movie again unless it was something I had already seen.

I never thought I would have a ‘worst’ movie, then I ended up with my hands on ‘My Big Fat Independent Movie’, when the Game Stop guy said I can only give you two bucks for it, I sad, hey, if I don’t have to pay you, I’m cool.

OK Eva:
I can give you that one. There was just so much hype about it that when I finally bought it and watched it I was disappointed more then anything else.
I guess for a drama it had some good stuff but I hated feeling so depressed afterwards, but I guess it was the nature of the movie and how it was designed to stir emotion.

ok Talladega Nights, now that was a dumb ass movie but some like it that dumb... not me

It wasn't as good as Anchorman, but it did a decent job of lampooning the worst part of American culture: Nascar. If you don't realize the entire movie is just a joke, then you're lost.

For me, I think Saw was the worst film I've ever watch...probably Saw II as well, because it's pretty much the same kind of thing as the last time around. I observed that it was too much worst and soo cruel..http://tbn0.google.com/images?q=tbn:73-kGwokONt6mM:http://www.intergalacticmedicineshow.com/Data/columns/chris_bellamy2/002-saw-2.jpg
looking forward to this Nick Love Outlaw film with Sean Bean...

OMG! We can not be friends anymore, sorry.

Anyways, this was a "BEST worst movies ever" So the movies here arent so rediculously bad they are unwatchable. I was however surprised as hell when Scarface came up, that movie is cool lol. Its a guys movie if I ever saw one, kinda dissapointed in Maxim on that one.

As for good horror, ever heard on the Exorsist? I mean cmon, best horror movie ever. I actually thought The Ring was pretty good as well. The rest is pretty much crap though.

It's a tie for me:

Mac & Me (1988)
and
Firebirds (1990)

The all time stupidest movies....in the history of all time stupid movies.

First, Mac & Me
I actually panned this movie in an online-imbd posting a year or two ago.
I watched this with some close friends, back in the summer of 1989 when it first came out on video. Out of deference to the young children who were were seated on the carpeted floor watching the film (and actually enjoying it), we adults stifled our laughter, and wiped our tears as quietly as we knew how.

Mac and Me was just plain dumb. Beyond dumb. Beyond the valley of the SHADOW of dumb. What a dog of a movie.

What really got me, aside from the McDonald's dance scene, was the overt commercial advertising. McDonald's, of course. I understand how a hack-company like McDonalds would be willing to tie themselves to such a stupid project. But Coca COLA?

Coca Cola should be ashamed of themselves for plugging their sugar water so shamelessly. (In case you don't remember, Coke was featured throughout the film, and in the end it was the magical cure for whatever was ailing the goofy aliens.)

Good gosh. I can't believe I just wasted 60 seconds of my life posting a review of Mac and Me. (Shakes head sadly)

http://www.stomptokyo.com/badmoviereport/evidence/evidence_pics/BF2003Mac.jpg

Now, Firebirds

Good premise, one would think.
Nicholas Cage as a US Army helicopter pilot being trained by Tommy Lee Jones for a mission against drug dealers while romancing fellow pilot Sean Young.

Problem is, it was a high-budget, low-quality, thinly-veiled rip-off of "Top Gun" and "An Officer and a Gentlemen" with an abysmal script. And it sucked worse than both of those movies stacked together.
To quote another imbd poster: "Nothing works. not the acting, the writing, of the direction. Everything is awful. A truly wretched piece of film making."

Worst movies..........

Just about anything starring Adam Sandler. George Gooney is another one who infests the bad movies.

For me, the all time worst movie I EVER went and suffered through was "Clan of the Cave Bear." "Clan of the Cave Bear" was originally a groundbreaking book, destined to become a classic piece of literature that was written by Jean Auel. WELL, rumour has it that Jean Auel say this piece of cinematic bilge, left the theater and sued the producers of the movie version of her book for 40 million. That alone has got to tell you how bad the movie really was, dammit.

The only use for that movie would be as a test a frat house could use to weed out those who really don't want to join their fraternity. The candidates see the movie, then copy the STUPID facial expressions the caveman dudes have for an entire day. Those, who aren't beaten up, ran over, expelled, disowned, dumped by their girlfriends can join the fraternity.

I mean it, dammit. You guys see the movie and run around with that kind of facial expression and your just asking to get fired, get smacked by your spouse and beaten up by total strangers.

I don't thinks so about worst movie...but as far as I knew, films are made to be worthy...the cast, director and also the producers are trying their very best to make their films worthy and excellent...but it also depends on the story of the film...:bombout:right...?did anyone you watched the past films of Sean Bean...? the man of the RotK...:matrix: America's favourite bad-guy, Sean Bean, is without shadow of a doubt a legend. From Sharpe to Lord of the Rings, Bean has been a dominating presence in British film and television. Famed for his ability to pick challenging and interesting projects - not to mention for being a favourite of the ladies - Bean has carved one of the most successful acting careers of his generation.
