I know he hasnt been to court yet. As well, all the facts have not come out. But IMO I just cannot see Kobe doing something like this. He just got married last year and his baby girl was just born. If he did it he is the biggest idiot in the world because there are probably a lot of women out there who would love to get with him.

I don't want to believe that he sexually assualted some hotel worker.

The chances are pretty decent that this is just some woman looking to score some attention and especially money, but something just tells me that he did it. Just a gut reaction. I hope I'm wrong.

I've been listening to alittle about this. The news reported that he has cheated on his wife, and admitted to doing it. I'm still not sure whether he did do it or not but it does look like he is capable.

Well the way the defense counsel for Kobe is running this case already makes me think there may be fire with this smoke. If Kobe is so "beyond reproach" why did they make such an effort to get him on tv with the image of him holding his wife's hand and saying it was "consensual"? Just last week he was denying sexual contact. Now he concedes he had sex. So we should believe he lied last week, but now he "really means it"? Its only been news for 2-3 weeks and his reaction as well as his defense reminds me of someone who is guilty trying to make the other side look bad to take the spotlight off themselves. Kobe is not on trial, that girl is. It hasnt even been proven the girl tried to kill herself but the media is assuming its true. How about we give her the benefit of the doubt until it is proven.
But it's hard to tackle the NBA and Nike all by yourself. THey have the best justice system money can buy it seems. As well as the best most expensive media it seems.

To some extent all that show is because he's fighting two battles - the court battle and the battle of public opinion. He needs to keep his image or he's going to lose millions in endorsements.

Bah, you're such a sucker for whatever the media wants you to believe!!! My gut feeling is that Kobe did something wrong. I think it's interesting how the girl in this case is immediately getting drawn up as a liar, while Kobe is being given every benefit of the doubt that he possibly can.
I find myself sickened because I can't help but think what would happen if I, personally, were accused of raping a 19 year old. I'm sure my reputation would be ruined. Meanwhile, Kobe, even if he is found guilty, will be forgiven and will continue to live the life of a superstar. That's a BIG if on the guilty part. History has shown us that those who have money have a really good chance of getting away with crime.

One thing for sure: this is going to get a whole lot uglier for all concerned before it goes away. 'Podunk' Colorado prosecuters are in for quite the fight, assuming this circus ever makes it into a court room.

What the heck is this about???

This case is turning into quite a story, it seems. I definitely think Kobe is not the guy the media was portraying now, that's for sure.

Yeah i read that earlier today. Seems as though all is not well in Kobeville. But he has enough money to come out of this without too many problems i think. Only time will tell.

Money > Law
I don't doubt that you are right. A shame.
