When Mike skyoaghj (who cares) came into to Duke as head couch they did not reach .500 for quite awhile. Carolina has recently made head coaching changes and it causes chaos in recruiting and other such things. Duke has lost to Florida State, and Virginia both unranked at the time of defeating Duke nice former #1 team in the country you got your self. I also recall Duke a few years back struggling just like UNC is now did they even win 10 games that year? Facts about Carolina they where in the top 25 most consecutive years than any other team. Dean Smith former couch leads the nation in wins for college basketball. Carolina has also has also lead the nation in 20 or more win seasons obviously coming to an end now. Also Dean Smith/Carolina leads mike kosdfhdl/Duke in about every other category and a little known fact unc has defeated Duke more than Duke has defeated UNC. Also duke like every other sports team college/pro all have there downfall season even duke has fell victim Duke will one day have a struggling season (it will happen) and then lets see if your boasting. Also how come most NBA players who become dominate out of the ACC happen to play from UNC? Jeff McGinnis, James Worthy, Michael Jordan, Jerry Stackhouse, Antwan Jamison, Reheed wallous (spelling?), Vince Carter the list goes on how many have came from duke?

If u want to know some history, Coach K has more national championships then Dean Smith. It doesn't matter how good unc used to be, they barely ever won the national championship. It is all about the championships, and coach K has 3 while Dean Smith has only 2. Yea Duke has to 2 ranked teams, but UNC has lost to many unranked teams, and some of those teams are division 2 teams. That is bad if u lose at home to division 2 teams. A persons's college doesn't effect how they play in the nba. UNC players have sucked in the nba also, like SUCKY ERIC MONTROSS, ED COTA(woops :) he didn't go to the nba) Forte doesn't play he rides the bench

If you would like some more history University of North Carolina has won the same amount of National that Duke has won. Carolina won national titles under another coach. It's all about the national titles huh? Well it has been expected of UNC to lose to unranked teams because UNC is also unranked but Duke being the number one team in the nation at the time should of won those games. Also UNC plays like a division two school. The reason UNC is playing badly is partly because UNC has gone through alot of staff changes in the last couple of years causing chaos in recruting and other such fields. And if you would like to name basketball players who never made it lets look at Bobby Hurly (guy can't even put a seat beat our his car head lights on), Christian Latiner, chris carawell, langdon (forget first name) and many other Duke player who have not succeeded in the NBA but statistically UNC has had better preforming player in the NBA than Duke has. Also you state the college you go to doe's not determine how well you do in the NBA then explain to me why you gave me a list of name of Carolina players who have struggled in the NBA if it doe's not matter you controdict you self to much. Schools don't matter than how come Duke rules but can hardly get a single Duke player to succeed in the NBA? 20 loses in a season is bad but also I recall a few years ago Duke losing 20 games so Duke must also suck because teams never go through a rough season do they? Duke players are doing so horrible in the NBA ESPN elected to write an entire essay on it. Next time argue a better point besides Whoohoo Duke rocks. And you talk crap about UNC player but what you don't relize is they are college students and still very young. I am tired of all the UNC fans talking about the past, why don't u talk about the present. Yea DUke sucked before they were a college powerhouse, but UNC has been one for years except NOW. Yea most all DUke players end up not having a good NBA career. Also UNC fans talk about UNC being awesome next year, but that wont happen, UNC will suck more because they are losing their whole team(CAPEL AND LANG). IT doesn't matter what recruits your getting, u will suck if u don't have any veterans to guide the team adn help develop the young players. DUKe fans also like to talk about DUKE next year, they will rule next year becuase they will still have the best player in the nation,Mike Dunleavy. THey are also getting 4 ALL-AMERICANS and DUke has veterans to guide the team and help out the young players.

Savage did bring up some info earlier about the past as far as championships goes, but I thiknk we're mainly relating it to the present. Personally I wouldn't mind seeing Duke take a losing season, but I must admit they are doing quite well this year and unc is doing extremly bad; so unless they get over confident I think Duke will Whoop UNC.
