OK, I am very fed up with the soft, liberal media pigs bashing our military. Eveery chance they get they try and point out how bad the military is. Example: This story about the guy who took the 12 year old British girl he met on the Internet to Europe. Every single time I see this story they refer to the guy as an "ex-Marine". WTF is that all about? I could see if he was in the Marines now, but why constantly refer to him as the "ex-marine" in every story, what does that have to do with the story, besides to make the military look like criminal pedophiles? What if we refered to other criminals as the "ex-UC Berkley student" or "ex-peace activist"? you never hear that. Is that becasue ex college student and ex peace activist never do anything wrong, and ex military are always doing something wrong? No, its becasue the liberal media picks and chooses what tags it puts on people, in a deliberate attempt to shape people opinions about certain people. It is sick and despicalbe. Anyone who sees no bias in the meida is either a blleding heart liberal themselves or has been totally sucked into their lies and become a sheep in the flock.

I agree Travh, how many ex-cops have done crimes, how many politicians have done crimes etc.... The media is just trying to bash Bush and the military, nothing more. People from all walks of life commit crimes, no matter what they are, or have been. People just need to remember that people commit crimes not the military. It is just like I hear these dumb a**es saying ban guns, there are to many killings done by guns. Well it is not the gun that did the killing, it is the person behind the triger.

You both got that right. Always some crazed ex-GI going ballistic somewhere. The military has always been a microcosm of society, those ex-GI's are all brothers, sisters, mothers and fathers to someone who lives in "normal" society. Not a bad idea to start labeling other miscreants with the last job they held, or by the last school they attended. To some extent, it's already been done: let us not forget the phrase "going postal". All we need to do is expand on it.

It doesnt further any of those liberal media types ambitions to say what people's last profession were. Where is the "juice" in saying that a computer technician killed someone? It is "juicier" and helps their undermining of our military at the same time to say an ex-marine did it. Bonus! Besides, you all know that the news isnt really factual dont you? It really is only the journalist's views on an issue. It's up to us to glean whatever truthful information we can from any of it.
