When I read this article, I just couldnt believe what I was seeing. How in the hell could someone do something like this to an innocent child? Much less their own grandchild?

Sometimes there just doesn't seem to be a suitable punishment available. Stick her in prison for the next 50 (given her present age, 43, life without parole would be about 45 years) years or so, which is probably cheaper, or go for capital punishment, end up spending a few million $$ on the trials & inevitible appeals, and she'd spend ?? 10 yrs minimum before being executed.
Imagine....death by OD on salt, and only 5 weeks old to boot.

Wow talk about high blood pressure, Seems like the baby would have pushed the bottle out of its mouth. That is one mean grandmother, I quess grandma's cookin aint so great after all. They should find her and make her eat cat sh** for a week, then make her eat rat poison until she dies.

Come on mad dog, can't you remember how tiny a 5 week old is? Under 2 feet long, and what? 12-15 lbs?
She might enjoy the rat poison, if the manufacturer went heavy on the strychnine, then she'll see plenty of color trails.
