We appeal to all Armenian brothers living in USA and cry for help! Georgian government persecutes its Armenian population actively and exhausted our patience! They forbid us to talk language of our ancestors and teach it in our schools. They’re rushing into our houses unapproved and crushing everything striking their eyes and insulting our women and beating our men. Georgian policemen torture and even kill Armenian detainees. We even can’t visit freely our relatives living in Armenia.
And last time when Armenians of Samtshe-Cavahk gathered to express indignation over Georgian oppressive actions Georgians brought here their special armed forces and made savage beating of unarmed marchers. Those were Special Forces trained by their Turkish colleagues. It looks like Georgians not only support Turkey in its reluctance to acknowledge Armenian genocide during WWI. They follow Turks’ footsteps and aim to commit another one in Georgian territory.
So please don’t ignore our call for help. That’s our original territory and it’s time to claim our right to it. Samtshe-Cavahk should gain autonomy status. And we wait for support from our brothers in USA.
