I used to be in band in high school, until the band geeks made it intolerable. I've half-tried to teach myself piano, so I have a couple of keyboards, but essentially the answer is, no.

The hearing went primarily as a result of extended periods of heavy weapons use and has only deteriorated over the years, especially in my right ear.

there were fine lines in the test,i agree.
some of my friends are cool like that too, hear it then play it. i want to get that good

Umm, yes. I can read sheet music, but I can't sit down and play something I've never seen before.
