Bingo on both accounts.

FYI, alright man, you can sit at home, and do like absolutely nothing and...
...and your name goes through like seventeen computers a day. 1984, yeah right man, that's a typo. Orwell's here and now, he's living large. We have no names, man, no names. We are nameless.

For me, it’s the best movie I ever hated. When I first saw it, I almost had to laugh, ok, didn’t almost, change that to did. But as the song goes, don’t judge a book by it’s cover. And Cereal quoting Ozzy, and coughing up the name, sparked an interest, in wanting to know more, considering his anti aka, was the aka, for one of the 2600 crew. In either event, taken into proper viewpoint, what seemed laughable became really the only way to tell the ‘hacker’ story, at least in some small form.

But aside, aside, it would seem, for the most part, that the ‘Internet’, while nameless in spirit, has some unwilling participants, namely in, wanting a name. And so to disagree, it’s not here and now, but perhaps a time to come.

Not disagreeing with you, but you have to admit, from a certain point of view, it seriously looks cheesy, and totally incorrect. I mean, other than that guy that dressed up as Spock on the sci fi convention days, who actually thought any of the dabblers were ‘cool’?

I think Broderick’s character in War Games, or Phoenix’s character in Sneakers, were by far, more realistic.

Carl?
The young lady with the Uzi, is she single?
Carl. Excuse us.
This is the brass ring. You gotta think bigger thoughts.
I just want her telephone number.
Please.
- How about a lunch? You can chaperon. - No.
- I will not do this. - Abby, come on.
- The FBI'd give him twins. - No!
Wait a second.
You can have anything you want, and you're asking for my phone number?

Just classic.
