I found this report in the current issue of Science Magazine to be interesting. I wonder if this might be a way of producing a stable fuel for cars etc. The storage of Hydrogen and Oxygen as a solid could be practical.

There were some rumors floating around a couple of years ago about peroxide rock. Now that it looks like the stability issue has been solved, it does open some interesting possibilities. One can only guess what the intended use is...

Can't see why not, I've got some of that stuff in the freezer right now. Not exactly rocket science...
