This is just hillarious! According to an egyptian poll, Denmark is the second most hostile nation to Egypt right after Israel, then Britain and then the US in that order. These people must either be morons, or totally brainwashed by their media. The is no anti-egyptian sentiment here what so ever - people are very indifferent towards most of the middle east. And if this is based on the mohammed cartoons (which it probably is) , what in the blazes of hell do they have to do with Denmark being hostile towards Egypt?? I am shocked!

The worst thing is this:

The attitudes towards Denmark indicated by the poll were consistent through the sample of Egyptian respondents regardless of age, education or living standard.

It's not just the poor and uninformed. It's a statistical consistancy.

Please elp,

After all the Jihadists have been up to, they've had a group of these guys wanting to attack CANADA of all place, PLUS it's been the hobby of all the Middle Eastern despots to divert the anger of their own citizens, thanks to the economic and human rights ineptitude on their parts, to someone else. Are you really and truly suprised about this?

Bush did say that when it comes to the War on Terror, you're either with us or against us. It would be more accurate to say either you're part of the problem or part of the solution. You Euros are as much involved in America's war on terror as George Bush himself. Stop denying it and start helping, the Jihadists can't possibly hate you any worse, dammit.

Darth,

I am not surprised that the West is being put to hatred, what does is surprise me is that the smallest, most insignificant little nation is being singled out as an enemy of Egypt! Normally, any nation in the middle east would hate you guys the most right after israel - and with reason, since the foreign policies of these nations makes a huge difference in that area. But we have no power or interest (other than selling butter and cheese) in the middle east, therefore I'm surprised.

And about your "war on terror"-remarks, they strike me as rather simplistic. I never really liked the with-or-against retorics - every western nation can agree that we need to fight terror, but the US-way is not necessarily the best way. For instance, I don't think invading Iraq was very wise, whereas invading Afghanistan was.

It just goes to show how much the media can "create" opinions.

I have tried to tell you that if you are not Muslim, you are the enemy.

Boy, it sure would be nice if those were OUR only worries....

Hey, when you put it like that, you make it sound so simple and.........intelligent.

Oh OK, Seriously tho, this survey is a good window of Muslim World life, you have an uneducated population who do and say basically what their leaders tell them, this is pretty standard in the Muslim World, which is why trying to Democratise places like Iraq is like pissen in the wind.

I am somewhat surprised. It's weird that Denmark is before America and other western countries. I would have thought that the Iraq War would have made the U.S and the U.K ahead of Denmark. Hmm...this makes me wonder what countries are on Denmarks enemy list. Or America's enemy list. No doubt Iran is on Americas.

18% believe South Korea is an enemy.

...Apparently, 18% don't know the difference between North and South Korea.

I would suggest that out of those 18% a good 10% wouldnt care.

I wonder how many taking the poll could actually locate those countries on a globe.

I remember seeing clips from CNNN http://www.abc.net.au/cnnnn/video/ online where they would ask people which country we should bomb then to mark it on a map. The map was fuked and many people didn't say a word.
