Not long ago I took part in armament check in Iraq. In the course of checking was ascertained that some part of armament put at Iraqis new security services and some allies were lost irrevocably!
For example, Pentagon concluded a treaty with Georgian peacemakers that they will get payment by US armament and equipment. But our ally decided to earn by this way. As we knew Georgian soldiers sold our weapons to Iraqi rebels! And for receiving it they wrote off it as lost or broken!
I was shocked by so state of affairs. Well, I can understand but I’m not excusing such movement of Iraqi security services which contrived to sell 15 thousand units of weapons. But so movements of our allies shocked me! Look, they say over and over again that support us and ready to take part in any US’ mission by our side. Moreover I think that we are spending enough US tax-payers’ money for Georgia reconstruction. But Georgians betray us in very important moment. I’ll no surprise that movements of Georgian allies aggravate situation in Iraq! And our soldiers die here as a result of Georgian peacekeepers activity!

If by armaments you mean assult rifles, I wouldnt worry too much. American weapons take 5.6 mm rounds, theyd be hard to replace once they run out of em.

The Pentagon cannot account for 14,030 weapons including semiautomatic pistols, assault rifles, machine guns, rocket-propelled grenade launchers and others it began supplying the Iraqi army with towards the end of 2003.

...remember all the whispers and accusations about Iran and Syrai supplying the resistance...Looks like its been the US the whole time. And the war profiteers laugh all the way to the bank.

Yes Guerilla, because al-Jazeera says our military is missing weapons, that must mean that we are supplying the insurgency.

More like some of them crooks who are running 4 city blocks in Baghdad have sold them to the insurgents.
