Does anyone remember this stylish and well-done vampire thriller from the '80's?

I'd almost forgotten about this until we saw it again the other day. I'd forgotten how good it was--strong storyline, excellent ensemble acting, and Keifer Sutherland as the hip bike riding bleached- blond vampire , David, who stole the show.

Haunting music.."Thou shalt not kill" --performed by a boy's choir, combined with modern tunes, adds to the overall atmosphere--hey, it's cool to be Undead.

I've never watched it but I remember Dane Cook cracking jokes to Keither about it at the celebrity roast of Dennis Leary a few years back.

One thing about living in Santa Carla I never could
stomach. All the damn vampires.
