What were the writers thinking, and who do they think would believe such stupidity? I don’t want to give away any parts of the movie, but for those that saw it, was the explanation of the ‘problem’ even within the realm of possibility.

I enjoyed the film. It's comedy and fantasy. Sure it's possible - why not?

I don’t know, I think anyone that has ever launched a spreadsheet, would grasp the fact that they alpha-numeric value within a field, has absolutely no significant relevance to a field count. I mean, seriously. A High School student versed in any programming language could write a voting program.

Sorry, I should point out, that I have a bad habit of being hyper critical when it comes to stories. I don’t buy cars with three wheels, so I sort of expect the same from the media.
