Anyone else think that Espn needs different people in the booth? Those guys are horrible. I did like last week when Charles Barkley sat in on a few series.

I'm not saying bring back Dennis Miller, just announcers that are better than the ones they have now.

It's painful.

I agree, they're terrible.
A solution is to either turn the sound off or listen to them for laughs.
We sure don't listen to them to learn anything.

I wonder if there are different people calling the game on the radio.

The radio broadcast rights to Monday Night Football are owned by CBS, and they do have different announcers.

I thought Mike Tirico did a pretty good job of calling the game.

Joe Theisman has never been one of my favorite sports figures, either on or off the field. I admire his credentials, but his personality (and his habit of interjecting his opinion into the mix) I find irritating.

Tony Kornheiser I do not get at all. He seems to be intelligent and articulate (though a bit overly-scripted, as was Dennis Miller), but he's got a head made for radio, not television. What the hell is up with that comb-over?

I think Tirico's solid, and I'm okay with Theisman. They're okay, but they don't bring a whole lot of personality to the broadcast team, IMO.

Not a fan of Kornheiser at all. I like him on PTI, but not in the MNF broadcast booth.

And not only that, but that dumb looking fedora Tony has taken to wearing ( to cover up his bald and pointed head) makes him look like a cheap Chicago pimp.

I don't care about the announcers, I just watch the game.

I'm with you on this one. They always run their mouth, and sometimes it's not even about the game. It's best to not listen to them and just watch the game.

I like Kornheiser... I don't think the announcing is as bad on MNF as people make it out to be. Now Bill Walton in the NBA? THAT is horrible.

I like it now that Jaws is on there, he is really good at breaking down the game and seems to really like to talk X's and O's, if only he could shut that idiot Cornheiser up
