I got this CD a few weeks ago, and finally gave it a listen.
MAN is it good! 1970's arena darling-turned studio hired gun-turned mature artist Peter Frampton really delivers the goods here.
This all-instrumental album is a quirky blend of styles, ranging from contemporary jazz to hard rock to 12-bar blues, and even (get this) a very tasteful Django Rheinhart-style gypsy swing tune.
The entire package makes for good highway traveling music, and will likely become the soundtrack for my Autumn 2006.
I highly recommend this CD.
