This was the pic (http://i9.tinypic.com/29z1t2w.jpg) cnn.com had on their front page before the current pic there.

And This pic (http://msnbcmedia.msn.com/j/msnbc/Components/Photos/061011/061011_plane_hmed_12p7.hmedium.jpg) from msnbc looks scary when you first look at it!!

Strange.......October 11th (september 11th)

Very scary indeed

Given the now established fact that the pilot was a New York Yankees pitcher, and that the plane had made an emergency call regarding engine problems, it seems more a coincidence than a terrorist action.

He left Teeterborough Airport in New Jersey, circled the Statue of Liberty and then headed up the river. At no time did he violate forbidden airspace, until he was in trouble and hit the building that is.

It is sad that he lost his life but I found it amazing that while he was a second tier pitcher at best he still made three point three million dollars a year.

Yeh, kind of makes me wish that I had practiced a little harder.

The thing that interests ME is exactly how this guy managed to hit a building. If one is having engine trouble, it would've been safer to ditch the plane into the East River rather than try to glide over NYC. It would be interesting to know that guys thought processes, dammit.

That's exactly right.
