Here's a picture of my favorite place to escape;
the creek down the hill from my house.

I've got four and a half acres of woods and scrub on my property, and a nice broad creek runs through it. I spent the better part of a year clearing out a portion of it, and doing some landscaping. I like to prune back the thorny stuff, but I leave the natural honeysuckle and ferns intact.

Most weekend mornings I go down there to stomp around the creek, looking for fossils and bringing up old fallen trees to be cut and split for firewood. I always set a fire in the campfire pit, and I tend it and improve it all morning as I set about my other chores.

Very relaxing. ;)
