I paid $2.12 at evil imperialistic Sam's Club. Even at the regular grocery store I've yet to see it sell for more than $3.

The price of milk is rising, because the amount being produced has gone down. The amount being produced has gone down because the price paid to farmers for the last several years has been below what it costs to produce milk. For a while, farmers borrowed money and tried to hang on. This year many farmers sold the cows for cash, and planted corn in the pastures, because they could actually make a profit selling corn to ethanol plants which are springing up all over. Less cows mean less milk, which causes the price to rise.

Don't be silly Imagineer, it's "Big Dairy" sticking it to the little guy.
Ahh, the cash cow.
They try to make cars run off corn products, like cows, to lower the price.
Appears it did not work with the cows.
I believe milk is less priced than gasoline in most parts of the country.
Safer4u, did you buy that milk at the 7-11?
Get ready, OPEC is cutting production. Fuel will go up.

They kinda figured out why Gas went down. Goldman Sachs was messin around with massive amounts of stock. Don't worry, It'll go back up...
What about that, milk is getting to be close to $4 a gallon here. Noticed it at the Piggly Wiggly today. They must have read this thread.
