Wow.. the Yankees CHOKED again

what a bunch of losers.. you'd think 200 million could get you a championship.. when the team you are contending with only has about 50 million.

Don't let anyone tell you otherwise.. the yankees SUCK... S-U-C-K... they have THE BEST LINEUP in the leauge.. and they looked like the freakin ROYALS out there... i LAUGH at how much the yankees are underacheivers.. and they choke.

AROD is shit.. he didnt do ANYTHING this series.. if anything he's HURTING the yankees with his stiff play in the playoffs.

Im glad for detroit... the yankees are the big bully who tries to take your lunch money, and the tigers planted a knock out punch on the yanks over-inflated jaw... BLAM, down for the count. Go Detroit!

This is what happens, IMO, when there's too many "superstars" on your team.
The guys basically compete against each other and don't play as a team, especially when it counts.
Besides, they're getting paid gazillions so why should they care if they win or lose.

Steinbrenner ought to cut lose some of those nogoodniks who care more about personal stats then playing and winning as a team.
I am happy for the Tigers and their fans. Their celebration was something to see. ( just wish it could have been US).They're going to have their work cut out for them against the A's who are a much better balanced team than the Yankees have ever thought of being since who knows when.

Thanks to the Yankee's elimination, I now have a reason to watch baseball again.

I have hated the Yankees ever since I can remember, at least back to the early fifties. I grew up a New York Giants baseball fan and always considered the Yankees the enemy. The Dodgers were just buffoons but the Yankees were evil.

Today my two teams are the Mets and anyone who beats the Yankees.

They don't seem to fly planes well either.

He was a pitcher and seeing how the Yankees did in that department is it any wonder he couldn't aim.
