Even Elmo isn't laughing about this one. A Florida man called 9-1-1 after he says another man threatened his life over an Elmo doll.

Even Elmo is rolling around laughing at this guy's raging lack of common sense.

It would appear that many parents feel that their success as a parent hinges on what they buy for their kids.

That is so disturbing. I cannot believe how some adults act!

Andy just why is this so surprising. I'm showing my age here, but I remember when Cabbage Patch Kids were first introduced. Burned into my memory is a scene around late december, of the local Hills Deptartment Store. Local news crew catching a full out riot. The manager of the store standing on a register with a baseball bat trying to calm everyone down, just as the police arrive. If I do remember correctly, larger cities there were a lot worse incidents. :eek:

This happens every couple of years, seems to me I heard of similiar things with the original Tickle Me Elmo a few years back. :confused:

Scenes like this are sad, troubling, and incredibly stupid, But nothing new unfortunately.:rolleyes:

Displays nicely where the whole concept of the "me first" has taken us. I find it repulsive in the exxxxxxxxxxxtreme!
