Okay here is a question for you ladies. When a woman takes a man from his wife after an affair and gets married to him does she really think he is going to be faithful to her? I mean come on. He met her cause he is a cheater. So why does she think the new marriage is different!? Help me out here ladies!

It ain't NEVER been Smarty and Fool. He ain't got enough Viagra and I ain't got near enough Valium for that to ever happen!
Stop it with the vicious rumors, ya hear me???
:slap:
(Besides, where's Ms Rock-on-the-finger for Xmas?)
Exactly where I expected her to be right now.
I showed her the rock, she said thank you and showed me the finger. Then she gave me a boot.
Sone people have a funny way of saying thanks.

In some cases I can see this to be true. But I've seen others work out without one unfaithful moment. Sometimes people are truly unhappy. NO having an affair isn't the way out of a happy marriage but it happens. So one can't really be sure whether the cheater will cheat again or not. It's like someone who is married for 40 years and never unfaithful and then boom they have an affair. I mean it's not something any of us aren't capable of...even if we think we aren't.

It's easy to figure out, Feetie. She will keep such a tight grip on his unmentionables, he won't be able to go to the bathroom without her standing there watching. And 9 times outta 10, he'll trust her about as far as he can throw their minivan. Oh yes, it makes for a lovely life!

Well Mary 2 of the children he adopted, they are hers with a deadbeat dad who was never interested in being a father. He married her and adopted her kids and then they went on to have 1 of their own. He cooks. He cleans. He runs the kids around for all their activities. He just recently went back to college to get a degree so he could better his family and he already works nights at a prison and makes excellent money.
Not sure I would want to ruin something like that.
And yet, he cheats? I'm talking about the poor wife who the Other Woman took shopping for lingerie. She should file and take him to the cleaners.
Or are you talking about the husband that refuses to leave?
List of terms:
WAS = walkaway spouse (i.e. the two having the affair)
LBS = left behind spouse (i.e. the ones not having an affair)

And your answer was much more mature than mine.
Yes, SOMETIMES people are truly unhappy and while an affair is a frowned-upon way to get out of that situation, it's also sometimes the most effective. Just like that great-sounding guy you describe. If he really is that good, he deserves better than to be strapped with a cheating wife.
You're right on about never saying never.

I agree with your response too. It would be hard to trust someone who was so quick to be dishonest and have an affair. And then it again brings me back to if they were truly not happy.
Proves again that life is just confusing but there sure is some good gossip that comes along with it!

But marriage is a committment. At some point, attraction isn't going to be the factor it once was, so you need to be really clear in your mind that you're not going to cross certain lines.
IMHO, that is. I know that people can be incredibly unhappy in their marriages, and stuff. I'm just kind of a stickler. (read: bitch)

Well we are no longer allowed to talk about the office affair at the work place. "They" were talked to and informed of their poor work ethic and that "they" brought this problem into the work place and it needed to go back out. So no one is to talk about it anymore.
See they spent a lot of time in each other's office and made it look like they were working when really they were having an affair. And they even begged the big guys for a office trip just to have a weekend away from their spouses together.
It's been quite interesting to come to work though lately. Never a dull moment...especially that meeting we had yesterday. It was nice to finally get recognized for all my hard work.

If youre smart, you'll never tie the knot. Never live with the same girl for more than 5 years. Or never ever get her knocked up. That way you'll be safe, lonely, miserable, and a horrible person to be around.

Awww, poor kitty. What's up, Smarty?
Awwww, it's OK, Mary. Just got steamed up over dumb stuff I read on another board. I'm over it now. (And more thoroughly convinced than ever that some people are simply idiots.)
Oh wait, did I say I was over it??

you know ... getting 1 chia pet would be kinda cool. never had one before.
LOL... got one chia pet myself once. It was shaped like a big ole PENIS and the 'grass' was supposed to grow around the bottom of it. For some reason, never got around to watering that thing. Wonder what I ever did with it?

I love getting those. Do they still have them out? I might have to buy me one as well. Of course D would eat most of it. I hate how much guys can eat and not gain a pound. I think I gained 5lbs over the holidays.
:bike:
One of our IT guys was around yesterday working on my cube neighbors PC and said he gained TWENTY-FIVE pounds during the holidays! What I hate is how fast men seem to be able to lose it!
Mmmm, bucket o'popcorn...

And congrats on being the one villager who'd smack a brat upside the noggin and tell 'em to get with the program!
Although I think your stance might be a little softer if you'd had children of your own, I'm still inclined to agree with most of what you said.

I was taught my NUNs in grade school and the Brothers in
High School.Neither of those disciplines,EVER tolerated ANY
Monkeyshines in school.
It was known as corporal punishment,to go before a stern Nun or
ticked off brother.
My fellow classmates,grew-up with a better appreciation of
discipline and respect for elders and Authority.
I doubt TOO many,if any,Nuns or Brothers had any kids, their own.
