I hate colds!!! Can manage to ride public transportation all year without getting one, then one trip to the mall and ZAPPO, I'm snifflin. Yet another reason I hate malls.

But wait... I ain't thru whining yet.

Not a damn bookstore one downstairs. Two or three jewelry places, one selling those 'redi-mix' cake doodads and another selling dried fruits & nuts. What the hell?

Looks like another few trips to the mall are in order. Probably get friggin leprosy this time.

Lulu was a prostitute. One day there was a raid. All the prostitutes were lined up outside the police station as they took them in one by one. As Lulu stood in line, she saw her Granny coming down the street and was so ashamed.
Grandma didn't know her occupation. Granny stopped to say hi, and asked
what the line was for. Lulu, saving face, said that the police were giving away fresh oranges to those waiting. Granny said wonderful she loved oranges and got at the end of the line.

When the policeman got to the end and saw her, he was amazed. He said, "How the heck do you do this at your age?"

She said "I just take out my teeth, rip the skin back and suck'em dry!"

The policeman fainted

(CBS) NEW YORK Veteran character actor Peter Boyle, 71, who played the crabby father of Ray Romano on the CBS comedy "Everybody Loves Raymond," died Tuesday evening in New York after a long battle with multiple myeloma and heart disease, his publicist Jennifer Plante confirmed to CBS News on Wednesday.

In his long career, Boyle appeared in a great many films, including 1976's "Taxi Driver" opposite Robert De Niro, 1994's "The Shadow" starring Alec Baldwin, and "Monster's Ball" opposite Billy Bob Thornton. Most recently, he played Father Time in "The Santa Clause 3" with Tim Allen.

Boyle was born Oct. 18, 1935, in Philadelphia. He left a calling as a Christian monk in the 1950s to become an actor, and in 1970, he won acclaim playing an intolerant factory worker in the movie "Joe."

In 1974, Boyle joined Mel Brooks to star as the famous monster in "Young Frankenstein." Boyle reportedly was in full monster make-up for the film when he met his future wife, Rolling Stone reporter Loraine Alterman Boyle.

In 1996, Boyle won an Emmy for guest actor in a drama series for an appearance on the sci-fi hit "The X-Files."

He was nominated for an Emmy for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series for "Raymond" in 1999, 2000, 2001, 2002 and 2003. The series finale of the comedy aired on May 16, 2005.

Boyle is survived by his wife, Loraine, and daughters Lucy and Amy.

I'm sorry about your cousin, Smarty. It's kinda one of those weeks, huh? Friday sounds good to me!

Got news this morning that my poor mama is going to have yet another surgery, this time to clear the cartoid artery to prevent her from having a massive stroke. She's so deep in dementia that she's taking it all in stride, which is so unlike her, but small blessings, huh? Keep her in your prayers, okay?

Bless her heart... she's been thru quite enough hasn't she?

My cousin died of cancer. He was 60. Came as quite a shock to me since I didn't even know he had cancer. Guess he was just one of those who kept things to himself. Someone said he'd suffered with it for the last 2 years. We weren't close as adults... but as kids, me & his little sister were inseparable. Bad as I hate funerals, I'm lookin forward to seeing her.

Hummm just because he doesn't make coffee does that mean we need to trade him in. Hey what am I saying trading and such. hummm He is a free agent and well I have a good man right now. Things are just a little strained right now.

Quite the contrary, sweetie. We've been trying to get HL married off for YEARS now! I say, ditch your b/f and we'll hook you two up!!! It's just a shame to see such a sweet guy get away with being single! (Be warned... he's a little reluctant.)

As bad as it sounds, funerals are generally a good way to see people you haven't seen in a while. I'm usually shocked at how old everyone has gotten!

Yes, my mom shouldn't have to be dealing with any more. They haven't even started the radiation yet and I don't know how this surgery will affect all of that. She's got a man by her side that every good woman should have, though. My dad has taken care of her through all of this, all the while dealing with his own medical problems. Sucks, plain and simple.

It's a joke about his un-willingness to provide coffee for sleep-over guests. Mikey has berated him for it for quite a while now. And, there's something having to do with Lager's penchant for turkeys....that was all before my time with the group, so somebody else would have to tell you that story.
