A blonde heard that milk baths would make her beautiful. She left a note for her milkman to leave 15 gallons of milk. When the milkman read the note, he felt there must be a mistake. He thought she probably meant 1.5 gallons so he knocked on the door to clarify the point. The blonde came to the door and the milkman said, "I found your note to leave 15 gallons of milk. Did you mean 1.5 gallons?" The blonde said, "I want 15 gallons. I'm going to fill my bathtub up with milk and take a milk bath." The milkman asked, "Do you want it pasteurized?" The blonde said, "No, just up to my tits. I can splash it in my eyes

Me too, Smarty. I'd like to just eat and get together instead of worrying about it, but I know I'll be scrapping at the last minute to come up with stuff for my boys. Just as we were starting on desserts at my table, someone mentioned the BG was one of only three people in our section who showed up last Thursday when the ice storm blew in. We all commented on how brave he was to venture out in that kinda weather! But someone else mentioned that he always participates in everything!
Then, I looked around the room of about 100 people and didn't see him. Wondered if he was still sitting at his desk, working. Couldn't stand the thought of us all going off and leaving him, so I came back downstairs to check. Sure 'nuff, he was sitting at his desk, just working away!
Whew!
Got him down there just before the caterers started putting up the food.
Now how bad would that have made us look to forget him completely?!
Good grief.

P.S. As I was helping him go thru the line to get his food, his dog reached up and nosed one of the rolls on the table. Heh heh heh... I didn't tell anybody.

We had:
Your choice of chicken breasts, veggie lasagna, BBQ brisket or smoked ham. Potato salad, cole slaw, seasoned pinto beans, rolls... pecan pie, chocolate cake with banana cream sauce and itty bitty apple fried pies.
*burp*
Then we played bingo. 3 people from my table won... but not me. Prizes ranged from junque (backpack, cooler, folding 'chair-in-a-bag) to $25 gift certificates and movie passes.
At least they did recognize those of us who slaved away over the decorations... so I got to stand up.

I got the same thing from my co-workers. But really, anybody who'd have missed him would've done the same thing. It was just with all the hoopla going on...
Thing is... he has a program that reads his emails to him, so nobody really has to watch him that close. He gets the same reminders we all do. But I guess it's the TIME thing that he has a hard time keeping up with.
Whatever... I'm just glad I decided to come down and check.
And LOL at the dog getting a plate. I feel the same way!! However, he's not allowed to do that. He eats at the same time every day... and some fancy expensive dog food at that. My sister claims that if I had fed my family more Hamburger Helper while my husband was still here, I'd still be married. Is that true? Is it that good?
:D
Some of it is. My boys loved it when they were growing up.

That's what I think. I don't really care for Hamburger Helper. She claims carbs=happy people, so therefore, the more potatoes, bread, and cheese she can stuff into meal the better off she is.
LOL...

LOL...
In my defense, I probably couldn't have filled three growing boys bellies without it, at times. They used to have a meat loaf that was pretty damn good. The rest of it, I could have done without, though. And, I don't think not having Hamburger Helper was the problem.....he was!!

THE MOST FUNCTIONAL WORD:
..Well, it's SHIT. That's right, shit!
Shit may just be the most functional word in the English language.
Consider.....
You can get shit-faced, Be shit out of luck, or have shit for brains.
With a little effort, you can get your shit together, Find a place for your
shit, Or be asked to shit or get off the pot.
You can smoke shit,
buy shit,
sell shit,
lose shit,
find shit,
forget shit,
and tell others to eat shit.
Some people know their shit, while others can't tell the difference between
Shit and Shineola.
There are lucky shits,
dumb shits,
crazy shits,
There is bull shit,
horse shit and
chicken shit...
You can throw shit,
sling shit,
catch shit,
shoot the shit,
or duck when the shit hits the fan.
You can give a shit or serve shit on a shingle.
You can find yourself in deep shit or be happier than a pig in shit.
Some days are colder than shit, some days are hotter than shit, and some days
are just plain shitty.
Some music sounds like shit, things can look like shit, and there are times
when you feel like shit.
You can have too much shit,
not enough shit,
the right shit,
the wrong shit or
a lot of weird shit.
You can carry shit,
have a mountain of shit,
or find yourself up shits creek without a paddle.
Sometimes everything you touch turns to shit and other times you fall in a
bucket of shit and come out smelling like a rose.
When you stop to consider all the facts, it's the basic building block of the
English language.
And remember, once you know your shit, you don't need to know anything else!
You could pass this along, if you give a shit. Or not do so, If you don't give
a s hit.
Well Shit, it's time for me to go. Just wanted you to know that I Give A Shit
and hope you had a nice day, without a bunch of shit.
But if you happened to catch a load of shit from some shit head, well...shit
happens.
P.S. I'm guessing that the original author is probably not a religious man
because he makes no reference to the existence of "Holy Shit".

I agree 100% with what Ms Kimi and Mr Ride said. I was going to comment that I think Miss Smarty is a terrific person and great friend to have....the others just beat me to it and phrased it a little differently :D
The world needs more people like her!!!!
Yes,Miss S is the yeast that lets us Rise.
The gel in the jello that helps us wiggle and boogie-woogie.
The Cocoa in in the Coconuts that makes fer a good
snack and also head butt {Bobo Brazil}
The Babe in a Babe Ruth, that gives us energy, sustenance and
that sense of Community, that is a Home Run in any ball park.

Denis Prager vehemently disagrees.
He is of the opinion that bumper stickers -- SHIT HAPPENS -- does nothing
but make a fool out of those who put them on their vehicle.
The ability to elocute and not verbiage, let alone toss around curse
words as a form of communication,is a mark of sophistication and
breeding. There has to be a rationale for lower tier strata,to feel
a kind of empowerment thru the mere use of guttural cursing.
Kindly explain.?
