Well, it's about time to go to work and slave another day.
I was able to get lots of stuff done this weekend. Did the Stones concert wednesday, stayed at the Biltmore Hotel that night, had a late start on Thanksgiving dinner, then headed to the desert for the rest of the weekend. I got lots of stuff done, but didnt accomplish anything, and I'm damn proud of it.

Now, wish you'd read Last Voyage of the Valentina. That one's haunted me ever since I read it and it's not even about ghosts!

I'm reading another England based one now (surprising since I don't usually go for those 'fog on the moors' stories)... but this one is rather good, too. Called "By a Lady" by Amanda Elyot and is about a modern-day wannabee actress in NY who buys an antique topaz cross from a street vendor. Then, as she's auditioning for a part in a Jane Austen play, she's suddenly transported back to Bath, England and the year is 1801. No clue yet as to why she's there... and if and when she'll ever get back. But it is kinda fun how she tries to 'fit in' and that she's hiding the modern zipper in her costume so as not to give away her secret.

Place where they sold inexpensive, one of a kind goods made by artists and craftsmen. Anybody got any suggestions for such a site? (gonna check the online newspaper site and see if I can find it)

Got my duds for the Christmas party :D Purple lace, long sleeve, high collar shirt with a black, long, handkerchief hem lace skirt. Found a beautiful black beaded wrap and evening bag to go with.....just pulls it all together. Purple boots to finish it off AND.......I found a purple cummerbund and tie combo for the date to wear...... woooo hooooooooooo I'll have to get some pics made and send them to ya later. Now if I could only find a limo service that was willing to donate their services, I'd be all set ;)
