Im hoping to get some in on Sunday. Got a new swing arm and rear wheel so im cool now. But I have to work tomorrow, and that sucks

He has a fracture in one of the wings that comes off his L-3 vertebrae, which is NOT a broken back, but rather an injury that will heal fine by itself right after it makes him hurt really bad for a bit. He also has a bruised kidney, but that also will heal OK.

That is also pretty much what I sent his father in an email...I wonder if he'll call his kid? Probably not, but I also sent him the link to the local tv station that will be replaying the game if he wants to see what happened. Nuthin' like a supportive parent...:hahanot:

Boy is truckin' along, kinda. He's not peeing blood, so I'm hugely relieved on the kidney issue. I made him go into school today (after discussing it with his trainer), but won't do it again tomorrow. Gonna have to work something out with the school for the next few weeks so that he stays current but isn't as miserable as he was today. WHY he didn't call me to come and get him, I'll never understand. I told both him and the nurse....oh hell, nevermind. I'm thinking of alternating days for morning/afternoon classes. We'll see. The major problem is he's carrying Honors and Advanced Placement (college credit) courses. He simply can't afford the time off.

Yeah, I saw some discussion of that deal over on the Politics thread and one guy was commenting that those men were arrested without proof they were going to actually go thru with a sexual act with an underage girl. Made me think about it for a bit, but I came to the same conclusion you did -- DUH you showed up, didn't ya?? They're not only pervs.. they're dumb pervs. Esp the doctor guy.
